Where can I find a space to study?

There are several spaces across the campus where students can engage in private study or group study. These include:

  • The Sidney Martin Library 24hr Study Room, located to the left of the main entrance. It houses a large, open-plan study room, and the Kerry-Ann Ifill Assistive Technologies Unit.

  • The Quiet Zone at Sidney Martin Library, which is intended for quiet study.

  • The Discussion Rooms at Sidney Martin Library. They are booked in advance for groups of 2 or more.

  • The Cell Phone Room at Sidney Martin Library which accommodates group work.

  • The Law Library Group Study Rooms, which are available to Law students. They are booked in advance for groups of 3-8.

  • The Library Reading Room at the CLR James Cricket Research Centre Library. It is reserved for patrons using material from the collection.

  • The Study Hall located at the Academy of Sport. The athletic study hall programme is designed to provide an objectives-based structured study environment leading to academic success for UWI Blackbird student-athletes.  You can learn more about the Study Hall at https://www.cavehill.uwi.edu/sport/students/study-hall.aspx
